University of Bradford • Bradford
Built for internationally qualified pharmacists by design — clinical depth plus leadership training, at one of England’s lowest fee bands. Not a registration route.
Our take
Bradford’s course says who it is for in its own name — Clinical Pharmacy and Healthcare Leadership (International) — a master’s designed around internationally qualified pharmacists, adding a leadership strand most clinical MScs lack. The same honesty applies here as everywhere: it does not confer GPhC registration, which runs exclusively through OSPAP for non-EEA pharmacists. What Bradford offers within that limit is compelling: a fifty-year pharmacy school, a band from £15,700 that undercuts nearly everything comparable, England’s low-cost county, and a leadership component aimed at pharmacists returning to run departments, chains and services at home. For hospital-pharmacy managers of the future, that combination is the point.
| Duration | 1 year full-time |
| Intake | January & September |
| Accreditation | Taught within Bradford’s School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences (home of the GPhC-accredited MPharm) |
| Tuition | Within Bradford’s 2026/27 international postgraduate band of £15,700–£19,500 — among the lowest for a clinical master’s. Exact fee in your offer; £5,000 deposit deducted. |
Where this leads: Does NOT lead to GPhC registration. Non-EEA pharmacists register in the UK through OSPAP only — this MSc adds clinical and leadership credentials alongside or instead of that path, never in place of it.
Both intakes run across the pharmacy portfolio.
Why Bradford
The curriculum assumes overseas qualification and context — not a domestic course with international students bolted on.
Healthcare leadership modules target pharmacists who will run services, departments and businesses — the career step clinical-only MScs ignore.
A band from £15,700 in England’s low-cost county — the cheapest clinical-pharmacy master’s year we know of at an established school.
Bradford’s school has trained pharmacists since the 1960s; the MSc inherits its clinical teaching infrastructure.

Entry requirements
English language
Bradford expects a formal English test from most international applicants. Bradford does not publish a Medium of Instruction (MOI) letter route, so plan for a formal test. It does, however, accept strong school-level English for some markets: typically 70% in English within CBSE/CISCE Class XII for India, and WAEC/SSCE English Language at C6 or better for Nigeria. Pakistani applicants are usually asked for IELTS or an accepted alternative.
Also accepted: PTE Academic 62 (59 in each part), Duolingo English Test 110 (100 in each subscore), TOEFL iBT 80, Oxford ELLT 6 (5 in each sub-test), BASALT — Bradford’s own English test, 6.0 (5.5 in each sub-test). Pre-sessional English is available if you fall short.
Careers
Your country
Bradford publishes clear equivalencies for Pakistani qualifications: HSSC/Intermediate at 60% is treated as roughly 96–119 UCAS points, 65% as 120–135 and 70% as 136+, while for Master’s entry a CGPA of 2.5/4.0 is read as a UK 2:2 and 3.0 as a 2:1. Bachelor degrees of three years or less usually need two years of relevant work experience on top. Budget carefully for the deposit — applicants from Pakistan currently pay £10,000 (not the standard £5,000) before a CAS is issued. On the plus side, the Bestway Foundation funds five full Master’s scholarships worth around £35,000 each for Pakistan-domiciled STEM students, and the city’s long-established Pakistani community makes settling in unusually easy.
Full guide for PakistanClass XII (CBSE, CISCE and most state boards) at around 70–80% maps to roughly 96–136+ UCAS points for undergraduate entry, and a bachelor’s at 60% is typically read as a UK 2:2, with 65–70% needed for a 2:1 or first. Usefully, Bradford accepts 70% in English within CBSE/CISCE Class XII in place of IELTS. Two things to note: applicants to MSc International Business Management from Punjab and Haryana are currently asked to pay the full tuition fee in advance, and India’s CAS and deposit deadline for September 2026 is 21 August.
Full guide for IndiaWAEC/SSCE alone does not qualify for direct undergraduate entry — students typically join via the International Foundation Year at the University of Bradford International College. For Master’s, an honours degree assessed as a UK 2:2 or above is expected. Bradford accepts C6 or better in WAEC/SSCE English Language (and the NABTEB equivalent) instead of IELTS, which saves both money and time. The university also has an in-country representative and a wide agent network across Lagos, Abuja and other cities.
Full guide for NigeriaHolders of the UAE General Secondary Education Certificate usually need a foundation programme before starting a bachelor’s degree, while postgraduate applicants are assessed on the standard GPA scale (2.5/4.0 for a 2:2, 3.0 for a 2:1). Bradford runs a Regional Hub at Dubai Knowledge Park — home of its Executive MBA in Dubai — so you can get face-to-face advice without leaving the Emirates. UAE nationals currently sit in the £2,000 tier of the Global Scholar Award.

No — GPhC registration for non-EEA pharmacists runs exclusively through OSPAP, foundation training and the registration assessment. This MSc is an academic clinical-and-leadership qualification. If UK practice is your goal, start from our OSPAP pages; if in doubt, ask us before paying any deposit.
The course is built for overseas-qualified pharmacists — its case-mix, assumptions and leadership content address international health systems rather than retro-fitting a UK-domestic syllabus. The cohort is correspondingly global.
Because the career step after senior clinical practice is running things — departments, chains, services. Pharmacists returning to South Asia or the Gulf with clinical depth plus formal leadership training compete for exactly those roles.
Fees from £15,700 in the 2026/27 band — the most affordable clinical-pharmacy master’s we list — plus Bradford’s living costs among England’s lowest. The £5,000 deposit is deducted from tuition.
Fees, entry requirements, English-language policies and intake dates are correct to the best of our knowledge at the date shown, but universities review them every cycle and immigration rules change. Always treat figures as a guide — we confirm the exact, current requirements with the university before you apply. Facts on this page last checked July 2026.
