Pharmacy schools
Universities with genuine pharmacy strength — MPharm degrees, clinical MScs and OSPAP conversion — with verified fees and entry requirements for students from Pakistan, India, Nigeria and the Gulf.
Plenty of universities offer 'something in pharmacy' — these are the ones where pharmacy is a genuine strength: accredited MPharm programmes, active clinical MScs, and in several cases GPhC-accredited OSPAP provision. If you're already a qualified pharmacist, read the OSPAP note on each profile before considering another degree — the registration route is usually faster and cheaper than studying again.

The OSPAP diploma — one year — is how overseas pharmacists register with the GPhC and practise in the UK. It is our core specialism.
FAQ
Yes — the four-year MPharm is open to international students at many universities, and postgraduate options (MSc Clinical Pharmacy, OSPAP) serve pharmacy graduates. Note that the MPharm route to UK registration is long: four years of study plus foundation training.
Neither, if your goal is to practise in the UK. Qualified overseas pharmacists register through OSPAP — a one-year GPhC conversion diploma — not by repeating a degree. An MSc suits those wanting academic or industry roles rather than patient-facing registration.
For MPharm: strong chemistry and biology at A-level equivalent (HSSC pre-medical, CBSE PCB, WAEC sciences) — typically with high grades. For MSc/OSPAP: a recognised pharmacy degree. English requirements are usually IELTS 6.5–7.0 depending on the course.
MPharm international fees typically run £16,000–£25,000 per year for four years. OSPAP is a single year at roughly £10,000–£16,000. MSc programmes sit in between. Each university profile lists its current published fees.
Fees, entry requirements, English-language policies and intake dates are correct to the best of our knowledge at the date shown, but universities review them every cycle and immigration rules change. Always treat figures as a guide — we confirm the exact, current requirements with the university before you apply.
